Educational facilitation for late teens and up. Three sessions of practical tools for understanding yourself and meeting life from a more grounded, centred place.
The Inside Job is a three-part series of conversations and practical tools — the kind of foundational understanding most of us were never taught at school.
The Inside Job looks at how thoughts and feelings shape our experience, and how a few simple practices can help you meet yourself, and the world, with more steadiness and gentleness.
"The base line of what we'd all benefit from knowing — information that isn't talked about in schools."
It isn't therapy and it doesn't claim to fix anything. It's an invitation to slow down, look honestly at the inner world, and pick up some tools you can carry with you.
Practiced even a little, these tools help you understand yourself better, and encourage being with yourself in a more accepting and gentle way.
I was always a sensitive kid and found the world a hard place to navigate. School never made sense, and nothing was ever explained to me around emotions, the mind, and our connection to the body.
When my parents separated I developed an eating disorder and didn't know how to release my emotions.
Years later, working with re-evaluation counselling, I learnt to release emotions and to unpack and reframe events in my life.
I wanted to create these sessions in a way that would impart the understandings I feel would have served me — the things I wish someone had taken the time to explain.
How thoughts create beliefs, and how those beliefs direct your life. You'll pick up basic techniques to come away from your thoughts, and to reframe your beliefs.
Your emotions, how they serve you, and how — when you acknowledge them — they can give you information that helps you understand yourself.
How clearing and reframing your thoughts and emotions can help you be more centred and clear. From this place, you can create your intentions and weave your dreams into realities.
The sessions are designed mainly for late teens and up — the age when these questions tend to start asking themselves, and when having some basic tools makes a real difference.
They're useful at any stage of life. The work is gentle, practical, and doesn't ask you to be anywhere other than where you are.

"The sessions were honestly such a big help. I found it to be a really safe space to open up and share everything I was going through. I started with a lot of anxiety and by breaking it all down I actually began to understand why — and it was okay. I was taught heaps of tools and those tools were what turned it around for me. I can honestly say I'm not that anxious person anymore."
